Please join the Hanover Garden Club for a lecture by noted horticulturalist
\nKerry Ann Mendez:
\n\u201cThe Right-Size Flower Garden: Exceptional Plants and Design solutions
\nfor Aging and Time Pressed Gardeners\u201d: Change happens. Job demands,
\nkids, money, hectic schedules, aging bodies and changing interests have led
\nto gardens that are not in balance with our lifestyle. Time for some
\n\u2018editing\u2019. This inspiring lecture provides easy-to-follow right-sizing
\nstrategies, recommended no-fuss plant material, and design tips for
\nstunning year-round gardens that will be as close to \u2018autopilot\u2019 as you
\ncan get.<\/p>\n
The program will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at
\nthe Hanover Council on Aging, 665 Center Street. Open to the public at no
\ncharge but space is limited. If you wish to attend, please call the
\nHanover COA, 781-924-1921, for reservations. You may e-mail
\npruerog@verizon.net if you have questions. This program is supported in
\npart by a grant from the Hanover Cultural Council, a local agency supported
\nby the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. <\/p>\n
Refreshments will be served following the lecture and Ms. Mendez\u2019s books
\nwill be offered for sale. <\/p>\n
