{"id":277,"date":"2009-03-04T03:36:33","date_gmt":"2009-03-03T22:36:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=277"},"modified":"2009-03-04T03:36:33","modified_gmt":"2009-03-03T22:36:33","slug":"childrens-clotheline-sale-to-donate-to-the-hanover-food-pantry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atotw.com\/archive\/?p=277","title":{"rendered":"Children&#8217;s Clotheline sale to donate to the Hanover Food Pantry"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"3DSection1\">\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoPlainText\"><span>As<br \/>\none of the recipients of &#8220;Around Town on the Web&#8221; said to me  in an<br \/>\ne-mail the other day, I love that we are coming together <i>even  more<\/i> as a<br \/>\ncommunity during these tough economic times.&nbsp; In keeping with that  spirit,<br \/>\nhere is yet another example of a Hanover businesswoman &#8220;doing  right&#8221;<br \/>\nby her community!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoPlainText\"><span>&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoPlainText\"><span>Three<br \/>\nyears ago Hanover resident Laura Rappaport started The Children&#8217;s<br \/>\nClothesline, a unique, highly organized child consignment sale.&nbsp;  The sale<br \/>\nwas started to help families earn extra cash selling their high quality,  gently<br \/>\nused children&#8217;s clothing and items.&nbsp; At the same time, the  sale gives<br \/>\nfamilies one stop shopping for all those great items at a fraction of  retail<br \/>\nprices!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoPlainText\"><span>&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoPlainText\"><span>Here&#8217; s<br \/>\nthe part I like best:&nbsp; The Children&#8217;s Clothesline has a  history of<br \/>\nsupporting charities for families in need.&nbsp; Each year, at the end  of the<br \/>\nsale, many consignors chose to donate their unsold items to Cradles to  Crayons<br \/>\nin Quincy.&nbsp; Beginning this year, consignors (who are allowed to  shop at a<br \/>\nFriday night pre-sale from 6 pm &#8211; 9 pm) can donate either $5.00 or  5 food<br \/>\nitems which will go to support the Hanover Food Pantry.&nbsp; In  exchange, they<br \/>\nwill receive an additional pass for a friend or family member to the  Friday<br \/>\nnight Pre-Sale!&nbsp; This should be a huge boon for the Hanover Food  Pantry;<br \/>\nthere are currently 200 families consigning thousands of their high  quality,<br \/>\ngently used child clothing and items!
