Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

As
\none of the recipients of “Around Town on the Web” said to me in an
\ne-mail the other day, I love that we are coming together even more<\/i> as a
\ncommunity during these tough economic times.  In keeping with that spirit,
\nhere is yet another example of a Hanover businesswoman “doing right”
\nby her community!<\/span><\/p>\n

  <\/span><\/p>\n

Three
\nyears ago Hanover resident Laura Rappaport started The Children’s
\nClothesline, a unique, highly organized child consignment sale.  The sale
\nwas started to help families earn extra cash selling their high quality, gently
\nused children’s clothing and items.  At the same time, the sale gives
\nfamilies one stop shopping for all those great items at a fraction of retail
\nprices!<\/span><\/p>\n

  <\/span><\/p>\n

Here’ s
\nthe part I like best:  The Children’s Clothesline has a history of
\nsupporting charities for families in need.  Each year, at the end of the
\nsale, many consignors chose to donate their unsold items to Cradles to Crayons
\nin Quincy.  Beginning this year, consignors (who are allowed to shop at a
\nFriday night pre-sale from 6 pm – 9 pm) can donate either $5.00 or 5 food
\nitems which will go to support the Hanover Food Pantry.  In exchange, they
\nwill receive an additional pass for a friend or family member to the Friday
\nnight Pre-Sale!  This should be a huge boon for the Hanover Food Pantry;
\nthere are currently 200 families consigning thousands of their high quality,
\ngently used child clothing and items! <\/span><\/p>\n
