On Saturday, October 8, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., the Friends of the John
\nCurtis Free Library are very pleased to host an Afternoon Tea. Back by
\npopular demand, Donna and Ron Lasko will talk about Courtship and Wedding
\nTraditions, display their Victorian wedding gown and accessories
\ncollection, serve their own gourmet blend of black tea with ginger, and
\noffer one lucky participant a beautiful tea-related door prize. Light
\ndesserts will also be served. <\/p>\n
Please join the Friends of the John Curtis Library and bring your favorite
\ntea cup for service (this event is recommended for adults only). Tickets
\nare $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased now at the library circulation
\ndesk and are limited to 30 tickets, so plan to buy early. Please contact
