Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The week of October 3rd through October 10th, 2016 has been proclaimed
\nHanover Visiting Nurses Week.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Visiting Nurse Association will launch their annual fund drive
\nstarting the week of October 3rd. The annual fund drive helps support
\ncamperships, scholarships, clinics (blood pressure, diabetic screening, flu
\nshots), while also providing nursing services for newly released surgical
\npatients, chronic disease patients, and others needing advice, sick room
\nequipment or doctor-ordered attention. In addition, the Hanover Visiting
\nNurse Association supports the community during the holidays with their
\nThanksgiving Food Drive and their Holiday Gift program. <\/p>\n
The Hanover VNA continues to keep ever present in our minds their original
\nmission that began on January 15, 1929: \u201cTo promote health, individual
\nand community, to prevent disease and to provide nursing care for the sick
\nin their homes\u201d. \u201cComing together\u201d, meant a beginning, \u201cworking
\ntogether\u201d, meant progress, and \u201ckeeping together\u201d, would mean
\nsuccess.<\/p>\n
The good folks at the HVNA thank you for your past generosity and continued
\nsupport as they work to steadily maintain and improve the health of
\nHanover\u2019s citizens.<\/p>\n
