Public Flu Clinic <\/p>\n
The Hanover Board of Health, in conjunction with the Hanover Visiting Nurse
\nAssociation, has scheduled their annual public flu clinics to be held at
\nthe Hanover Senior Center, 665 Center Street, Hanover:<\/p>\n
Wednesday, October 19, 2016\t\t 5:00 pm \u2013 7:00 pm<\/p>\n
Please note:
\nBecause of budget cuts across all departments, the Massachusetts Department
\nof Public Health is no longer able to provide free vaccine to cities and
\ntowns except to those residents who are either un-insured or under-insured
\n(meaning their health plan will not cover the cost of a flu shot).<\/p>\n
The Board of Health has purchased an adequate supply of flu vaccine to make
\nup for the lesser amount received from the State. *** All persons will be
\nasked to present an insurance card (most insurance plans welcome) and the
\ninsurance plan will cover the cost of the flu shot ***.<\/p>\n
No one will be turned away on the basis of insurance eligibility.<\/p>\n
Please remember to wear short sleeves.<\/p>\n
