Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Saturday October 29th will be a busy day in the center of town, and so I am
\nwriting with some tips for making your day more productive.<\/p>\n
First, this Saturday is the only Saturday of Early Voting. Early Voting
\nhours on Saturday 10\/29 are from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lines have been
\nshort or non-existent all week this past week, so you are encouraged to
\ncome vote this weekend if that’s what works best in your schedule. If you
\nneed to come between 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., please plan to drive down the
\nlibrary driveway and park back by the Boy’s Club as the town hall side
\nparking lot will be closed until approximately 10:30 a.m. If you can wait
\nto come vote until after 10:30 or so, parking will re-open in the side lot
\nafter then.<\/p>\n
And here’s why – there is also the John Goslin Memorial Road Race in
\nHanover Center, also at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. John was a prince of a man
\nand I hope they get a huge turnout. The race begins at 9:00 from St.
\nMary’s and finishes at the Town Hall parking lot. Please be on the lookout
\nfor runners! And if you are running, come vote when you are done!<\/p>\n
Further, there will be a bloodmobile parked in the Town Hall parking lot on
\nSaturday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Most of the traffic for that event
\nwill be pre-reserved appointments. But, it will add to the activity of the
\nday. <\/p>\n
And finally, I just heard there will be a funeral at St. Mary’s at 9:00
\na.m. on Saturday, followed by the burial in Hanover Center. My sincere
\ncondolences to the Wilson\/Hayes family. Please let’s give them the space
\nthey need.<\/p>\n
If you add it all up, bottom line, if you can avoid the center of town
\nuntil 10:30 or so on Saturday, it might be a good idea. If you can’t, I
\nwill see you there, because I can’t either. :)<\/p>\n
