Hanover Parks and Recreation and the Office of Family and Community
\nEngagement are pleased to collaborate to offer ski and snowboarding lessons
\nat the Blue Hills Ski Area!<\/p>\n
When: Tuesdays 1\/3, 1\/10, 1\/17, 1\/24 and 1\/31, 4:30 p.m. \u2013 5:45 p.m.<\/p>\n
Additional weeks will be added if there are cancellations due to adverse
\nweather conditions. Families\/students will be notified of any lesson
\ncancellations by both an email and phone call. <\/p>\n
Time: Buses will depart Hanover Middle School at 2:45 p.m. sharp, Cedar
\nSchool at 3:00 p.m. sharp, Hanover High School at 3:10 p.m. sharp, and
\nCenter School at 3:20 p.m. sharp. They will return to Hanover Middle
\nSchool for pick up at approximately 7:00 p.m. A text alert will be sent to
\nall families through the Team App when departing Blue Hills Ski Area. All
\nstudents must be picked up at Hanover Middle School by a parent\/guardian or
\nother authorized designee.<\/p>\n
Ages: 7-15 years of age
\nCost:
\n$325 – Ski\/Snowboard lesson (No equipment rental)
\n$400 – Ski\/Snowboard lesson with rental
\n$30 – Helmet rental<\/p>\n
All registrations must be received by December 14, 2016. <\/p>\n

Students will be picked up at their respective schools unless previously
\narranged with staff. Students may bring equipment to school on the day of
\ntheir lesson to be safely stored for the day. Helmets are required. Each
\nparticipant will wear a Blue Hills Ski Pass during lessons as well as a
\npinnie to identify them as part of the Hanover program. Hanover Parks and
\nRecreation and the Office of Family and Community Engagement are not
\nresponsible for lost or damaged cell phones or other personal property.<\/p>\n
All students in grades 6th \u2013 9th must meet the head injury prerequisites
\nfor student participation as set forth by the Hanover School Committee
\nincluding a current physical examination and a Baseline ImPACT Test.<\/p>\n
