As part of their National Honors Society project, Hanover High School
\nstudents JuliAnna Picardi and Gabrielle Manupelli will be collecting cell
\nphones for soldiers. These phones may be dropped off at Hanover High School
\nand\/or Curry Hardware in Hanover. The drop off dates are now thru March
\n31st. The phones can range from flip phones to iPhones. <\/p>\n
Cell Phones for Soldiers is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to
\nproviding cost-free communication services and emergency funding to
\nactive-duty military members and veterans.<\/p>\n
Since 2004, Cell Phones For Soldiers\u2026
\n\u2022\tHas provided more than 300 million minutes of free talk time.
\n\u2022\tHas assisted more than 3,100 veterans and their families with emergency
\nfunding.
\n\u2022\tRecycled more than 15 million cell phones, reducing the impact on
\nlandfills.
\n\u2022\tMailed approximately 1,500 calling cards each week.<\/p>\n
