Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

There are some rather talented mathematicians at Hanover
\nHigh School these days.  This is probably of no surprise to many of
\nyou.  Add that to the fact that this Saturday, March 14th is
\nalso known as Pi Day, and the results can be both challenging and fun!  <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thanks to Scott Hutchison, HHS math teacher, who sent me the
\nlink www.pidaychallenge.com .  Here is a brief description taken directly from
\nthe site:  <\/p>\n

“March 14th is a
\nfantastically mathematical day.  Pi Day. Accept the challenge.<\/b>  The
\nPi Day Challenge is a series of puzzles that are logic-based.  A team of
\nlogicians adapted or created these puzzles – some require research, some
\nrequire mathematics, some require pure savvy.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After having tried the challenge, I will also tell you that
\nthe puzzles require patience!  Are you up for the challenge?  Check
\nit out!  Now, if that doesn’t sound like something to shout from the
\nrooftops of Hanover, I am not sure what else should be.  J<\/span><\/p>\n
