\n(MRC) on Thursday, May 4th at Hanover Town Hall from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. for a
\ngreat program! \u201cHot Topics in Public Health\u201d will be presented by
\nAlfred DeMaria, MD from the MA Department of Public Health. <\/p>\n
Dr. DeMaria will talk about:<\/p>\n
The threats presented by mosquito borne infection in Massachusetts
\nThe past influenza season and implications for next year
\nAntibiotic resistance as an ongoing and increasing threat and
\nThe many consequences of the epidemic of opioid use<\/p>\n
Alfred DeMaria,Jr, MD, is the Medical Director at the MA Department of
\nPublic Health, Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences. Dr.
\nDeMaria\u2019s presentations are always important, interesting and engaging. <\/p>\n
