Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The children’s summer reading program will kick off Friday, June 30 with a
\nvisit by Animal World Experience from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Matt Gabriel
\npresents a variety of live animals and teaches the audience about them and
\ntheir lives and habits. The title of the program is “Home is Where the
\nHeart is”; the focus will be on how animals make and maintain their homes
\nin the wild. During the second hour, from noon to 1:00, children will be
\nable to pet and hold some of the animals. Matt and his animals have
\nappeared at the library every summer for several years and are always a
\nhit. The program is funded by the Friends of the Library.<\/p>\n
Registration for summer reading will begin right after the program.
\nChildren will receive reading logs on which to record the time they spend
\nreading, to earn prizes throughout the summer.
\nThis summer’s theme is “Build a Better World”, and programs and performers
\nwill all relate to it in various ways.<\/p>\n
