Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Philip C. \u201cPhil\u201d Beal passed on peacefully after a
\nperiod of declining health. Phil was born and raised in Hanover. After
\ncompleting his education and military service, Phil returned to town with
\nhis wife Barbara to raise their family. They resided there for 40 years.
\nFor twenty of those years he was Superintendent of Public Works for the
\nTown. Active in the community, he was also a member of the Hanover, MA
\nBoard of Water Commissioners, the Hanover Fire Department, Freemasons
\nPhoenix Lodge A.F. & A.M., Rotary International, and the American Legion. <\/p>\n
On October 14th at 2:00 p.m., the family will host a Celebration of Life at
\nthe First Parish Church in Norwell. All who knew Phil are welcome to join
\nin the celebration of his life and legacy. A brief reception will follow in
\nthe Parish Hall.<\/p>\n
