Colby Phillips Trail Walk. Saturday, November 25 at 10:00 am. <\/p>\n
Join the Hanover Open Space Committee for a post-turkey walk on the
\nSaturday after Thanksgiving. <\/p>\n
Park at the far western end of Circuit Street off Pleasant Street, just
\nnorth of the intersection with Rte.139. Walk the old rail-bed to the
\nRockland entrance to the Colby Philips property, and then to the wildlife
\nviewing platform and back. This 2.5 mile loop offers lovely woodland, a
\nfootbridge over Cushing Brook, and views of the Cushing Brook Marsh. The
\nhistoric Darling (West Hanover) Cemetery closes the walk. <\/p>\n
A shorter, 1.5 mile loop is also offered as an option. Sturdy walking
\nshoes and insect\/tick repellent advised. For more information, contact
