Last<br \/>\nmonth Hanover&#8217;s consultant, Municipal Resources, Inc., met with department<br \/>\nheads, residents, and town employees to gather feedback on the personal<br \/>\nattributes, leadership qualities, and experience desired for the next Town<br \/>\nManager.  In addition, they also sought input on the major issues and<br \/>\nchallenges facing the town.<\/p>\n<p>The position has now been advertised and applications will be accepted<br \/>\nthrough February 5th.  You can view the job posting and ideal candidate<br \/>\nprofile here: http:\/\/www.mrigov.com\/hanover_ma__town_manager<\/p>\n<p>Residents still have the opportunity to provide input directly to Municipal<br \/>\nResources, Inc directly via email to:  hanovertm@mrigov.com<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Board of Selectmen is still accepting applications for residents<br \/>\nwho are interested in serving on the Town Manager Interview Panel.  The<br \/>\nmembers will represent the community on a panel facilitated by Municipal<br \/>\nResources, Inc. in order to provide input as to how each semi-final<br \/>\ncandidate fits with the community.  As a member of this panel you will be<br \/>\nasked to assess certain personal characteristics, attributes and aspects of<br \/>\nindividual style that relate to how well a candidate may interact with and<br \/>\nbe viewed by members of the community.  It&#8217;s anticipated that the<br \/>\nsemi-final interviews will be conducted on a single Saturday in early<br \/>\nMarch.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the panel will be asked to guard the privacy of candidates and<br \/>\nthe information obtained during the search process.
