The first three of four final interviews for our next Town Manager were
\nheld Monday night. Attached please find the resumes, cover letters, and
\nessay questions for the first of the four finalists – Joseph Colangelo.
\nStay tuned for the other three.<\/p>\n
Of note is the absence of Anthony Marino from the remaining candidate pool,
\nActing Town Manager, in the list of candidates to date. He sent the
\nfollowing message to Town Hall employees on Monday:<\/p>\n
“Good Afternoon,<\/p>\n
I wanted to let everyone know, officially, that I have made the difficult
\ndecision to accept the position of Town Manager in Ipswich, Ma. This was
\nnot an easy decision for me because of the people that I have had the
\npleasure to work with, and the amazing ten years that I have had working
\nhere. I have truly enjoyed every day that I had the pleasure of coming to
\nwork in Hanover.<\/p>\n
The opportunity and new adventure in Ipswich is a great career move for my
\nfamily and me, but I will miss my Hanover friends. My last day will be
\nApril 20, 2018, I will be working on Town Meeting prep and finalizing the
\nbudget with the Board of Selectmen and Advisory before I leave.<\/p>\n
Thank you for all of your hard work in making Hanover a great place to live
\nand work!<\/p>\n
