\nEntertainment Series at the Pavilion at Forge Pond Park! <\/p>\n
Every other Sunday, July 15th – September 23rd <\/p>\n
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
Please bring a chair and blanket and join Park and Rec for an evening of
\nfamily, friends and great entertainment at Forge Pond Park (245 King
\nStreet). Extreme Tailgators Barbeque will also be there with dinner,
\nsnacks and drinks to purchase.<\/p>\n
July 15th – The New City Cowboys
\nThe New City Cowboys are a group of country music lovin’ lifelong friends
\nbased, of all places, just south of Boston, Massachusetts. They\u2019ve been
\nperforming for years as The Armstrong Brothers band to popular acclaim
\nthroughout the South Shore since the 1980\u2019s. But they love the new music
\ncoming out of Nashville so much that five years ago they formed their new
\nband, The New City Cowboys, to bring the “New Nashville Sound” to the
\nBoston area. Their goal is to make sure that you have as good a time
\nlistening to their favorite country music as they do performing it for you!
\nThe New City Cowboys are: Jim and Joe Armstrong, Bill Holbrook, as well as
\noccasional visiting musicians and longtime \u2018friends of the band”,
\nperforming the country music you love from the likes of Kenny Chesney,
\nJason Aldean, Eric Church, and others. <\/p>\n
July 29th – Divas with a Twist
\nDiva with a Twist is a unique musical group that performs all different
\ngenres of music and is based out of Boston. With five powerhouse female
\nvocalists, backed by Grammy nominated musicians, Divas with a Twist is sure
\nto captivate any audience. The musicians and vocalists bring originality
\nand a high powered sound, creating, and delivering unique and highly
\nentertaining performances every time! You’ll hear songs by Queen, The Who,
\nGloria Estefan, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Maroon
\nFive, Lady Gaga, Adele and MORE! <\/p>\n
August 12th – John Doney 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and John Logan 6:00 p.m. –
\n7:00 p.m.
\nJohn Doney is a singer-songwriter with Western MA roots who has settled
\ndown in the South Shore. His music has been influenced by folk, rock, blues
\nand country. He pulls from the likes of the Beatles and Paul Simon, with a
\nnod towards rock n’ roll’s country and blues foundation. He has been
\nwriting and performing music across the state for the past 10 years.
\nBy the age of 23, John Logan published two books, was on America\u2019s Got
\nTalent, and consulted a national Toyota commercial. You may recognize
\nJohn\u2019s name from the news where he captured national headlines when Tom
\nBrady talked about him in his press conference. As the New England Patriots
\nTeam Magician and host of his own web series with the players, John was
\nalso the Opening Act for the Malcolm Mitchell Tour (Super Bowl 51
\nChampion). A recent graduate from Bryant University, John is currently
\npresenting keynotes on creativity, helping to develop two television shows,
\nand being the Associate Producer for an upcoming movie. You can learn more

August 26th – Kelsey Gilbert and Paul Doolittle
\nKelsey Gilbert and Paul Doolittle are an acoustic duo playing classic songs
\nfrom all decades of the modern era of American popular music. <\/p>\n
September 9th – Jumpin\u2019Juba
\nJumpin\u2019 Juba plays a mix of old-school blues, early rock and roll, and
\nroots-y versions of Americana tunes. Steve Hurl sings and bends the guitar
\nstrings, Bruce Ward pounds the piano keys, Jan Kowalski blows a mean sax,
\nDavid Langhoff knocks out the beat. Their 1st CD, Bumpity Bump, got great
\nreviews, and play on many hip radio shows. Their follow-up, Slap Happy,
\nattracted similar attention. Upbeat music suitable for listening and

September 23rd – Knock on Wood
\nKnock on Wood is a high-energy acoustic folk-rock duo, featuring
\nsinger-songwriter Howie Newman. Combining acoustic guitar with fiddle,
\nmandolin and pleasing vocal harmonies, the duo performs classic rock covers
\nalong with funny original music (suitable for all ages). Their repertoire
\nspans everything from the Beatles to Steely Dan to the Dropkick Murphys.
\nIt\u2019s not your typical guitar-fiddle folk act. Knock on Wood puts on a
\nlively, fun show with great musicianship and a little bit of humor here and
