Science Tellers–Wild West–The Mystery of the Golden Piano<\/p>\n
Monday July 30, 11:00 a.m. at the John Curtis Library<\/p>\n
Grab your spurs and journey with the good folks at the library to the Wild
\nWest, where a legendary bank-robbing outlaw is back in town and about to
\nstrike again! After the Sheriff mysteriously vanishes, two young kids must
\nsaddle up to foil the great heist \u2014 but not before stopping a runaway
\ntrain, escaping an abandoned mine shaft and discovering how a mysterious
\npiano can play an \u2018instrumental\u2019 part in putting a rotten cowboy back
\nbehind bars. Throughout this absolutely wild adventure story, volunteers
\nfrom the audience will help explore the fascinating science behind chemical
\nreactions, acids and bases, combustion, air pressure, inertia and more.
\nDon\u2019t miss this classic action-packed western with \u2018notes\u2019 of
\nscience! <\/p>\n
