After fielding several questions about the blue lights in town, I thought I
\nwould send the following e-blast:<\/p>\n
Please join your neighbors in honoring Hanover resident and Weymouth Police
\nSergeant Michael Chesna who was killed in the line of duty last week.
\nPlease consider displaying a “thin blue line” sign or flag, a blue and\/or
\nblack ribbon, or a blue light this summer. The displays I have seen to
\ndate are heartwarming – let’s add to them and keep them going so his widow
\nand children…and all of the police families in Hanover…know how much we
\ncare about them!<\/p>\n
I have also seen a re-emergence of the “No Hate-Choose Kind” signs and
\nsimilar displays. It’s all good. Thanks for your consideration of and
\nparticipation in the “Spirit of Hanover”.<\/p>\n
