“I am writing to invite you for an evening of support and conversation in
\npartnership with the Weymouth Public Schools as our communities continue to
\nheal together. <\/p>\n
Please join us on Wednesday, August 22nd for a workshop on \u201cSupporting
\nChildren after a Community Loss\u201d. This event will be hosted by Maureen
\nPatterson-Fede from the Good Grief Program, and Neena McConnico from the
\nChild Witness to Violence Project, both from Boston Medical Center. They
\nwill share information on how grief, loss, and difficult events can impact
\nchildren and families and provide strategies to help us with the healing
\nprocess. The workshop will be held at the John Curtis Free Library in
\nHanover from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. This workshop is intended for parents,
\ncaregivers, staff and community members. For more information, please see
\nthe attached flyer. We are very grateful for the other community partners
\nwho continue to reach out offering support and who are involved in the
\nplanning of this workshop. <\/p>\n
As we all enjoy the remaining weeks of our summer vacation, please continue
