BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION ~ Helps raise money for Hanover Schools!<\/p>\n
Please help the Hanover Parent-Teacher Alliance (HPTA) raise money for
\nHanover Schools by clipping and collecting \u201cBox Tops for Education\u201d
\nfound on many popular products including General Mills cereals, Nature
\nValley granola bars, Ziploc products, Annie’s products, Papermate office
\nsupplies, Hefty bags and many more.<\/p>\n
Box Tops collection containers may be found around town in the Library
\n(near the Children’s Room entrance) and at the Transfer Station (a metal
\nmailbox near the cardboard recycling area and a smaller mailbox near
\naluminum recycling). Box Tops deposited in these containers are collected
\n3-4 times a year and added to the collections from Hanover students. The
\nmoney raised benefits the children of Hanover Schools. Box Tops may also be
\nbrought into the Center\/Sylvester, Cedar and Middle School office or sent
\nin with a neighborhood student. <\/p>\n
Every year the HPTA raises THOUSANDS of dollars with this program! In
\n2017-18 they collected nearly $8,000! Box Tops are worth $.10 each and it
\nadds up quickly, especially when everyone helps!<\/p>\n
Their first collection drive is happening now and throughout the month of
\nOctober, so check your pantry, and drop your Box Tops off now. They also
\ncollect during the months of February and May, but you can clip all year
\nlong!<\/p>\n
Money raised helps pay for programs, services and school needs that are not
\ncovered by the regular budget. Funds help offset field trip expenses and
\nspecial events for students. Sports equipment, books and games are
\npurchased. Technology equipment has been invested in and educational
\nsupport programs have been made available. Every cent goes toward things
\nthat directly benefit the students of Hanover in grade K-8. Please look for
\nBox Tops on products you purchase, clip them, place them in a Ziploc baggie
\nor sealed envelope and deposit them in one of the collection boxes around
\ntown.<\/p>\n
