This year’s Hanover Four Corners Winter Festival will take place on Friday,
\nNovember 30th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. <\/p>\n
A variety of family-friendly activities are planned throughout the festival
\nincluding: photos with Santa; a scavenger hunt; ornament making for
\nchildren; a historical walking tour and performances by local dancers and
\ncarolers! The entire neighborhood will be lit with luminaries and there
\nwill be a fire pit and craft vendors. Below is the evening’s lineup
\n(schedule subject to change and will be updated as new events are added):<\/p>\n
\u2022\tBoy Scouts and Girl Scouts will have luminaries lit throughout the
\nneighborhood at 5:30 p.m.
\n\u2022\tMovie \u201cFrozen\u201d parade at 6:00 p.m. Children welcome to wear
\ncostumes.
\n\u2022\tMovie \u201cThe Grinch\u201d screening courtesy of Mr. TV at 6:30 p.m.
\n\u2022\tHanover High School Brass Quintet performs on the steps at St
\nAndrew\u2019s 6:00 p.m.; at Salmond School 6:30 p.m.
\n\u2022\tAbbey Knoll Photography hosting \u201cPictures with Santa\u201d at Fire
\nStation #2 from 6:30 p.m. \u2013 8:00 p.m.
\n\u2022\tRenovisions hosting a cider donut bar and sing along caroling from 6:00
\np.m. – 8:30 p.m.
\n\u2022\tStrolling Hanover High School VOX Chorus carolers will host
\nsing-a-longs after 7:00 p.m.
\n\u2022\tIvy & Olives hosting a wreath decorating demonstration at 7:30 p.m.
\n\u2022\tStephen O\u2019Neill of the Hanover Historical Society leading an
\nhistorical walking tour at 7:00 p.m.
\n\u2022\tPhoenix lodge tours and free clam chowder
\n\u2022\tFire pits on the grass in the Four Corners parking lot provided by the
\nBoy Scouts, with s’mores provided by the Girl Scouts.
\n\u2022\tMary Lou\u2019s 50 cent hot chocolate special
\n\u2022\tMom on the Go food truck in front of Mary Lou\u2019s. Wahlburgers and
\nSadie Mae’s Cupcake food trucks at Salmond School
\n\u2022\tChildren\u2019s ornament making craft area to decorate the Four Corners
\nChristmas tree
\n\u2022\tSchool Store open at Salmond School selling Hanover gear
\n\u2022\tPark and Rec, Council on Aging, John Curtis Library and HCTV hosting a
\nphoto booth, corn hole games, and crafts at Salmond School.
\n\u2022\tLorraine\u2019s Cakes hosting Gingerbread cookie decorating for children
\n\u2022\tToys for Tots collecting new toys in the ambulance parked on the
\nsquare.
\n\u2022\tSt. Andrew\u2019s Church hosting their annual cookie sale.
\n\u2022\tBeer and Wine tent at Fire Station #2
\n\u2022\tVendor booths on Church Street
\n\u2022\tScavenger hunt at Portside Real Estate<\/p>\n
Performances include:
\n\u2022\t6:30 p.m.: Dunleavy Boyle Bremer Academy of Irish Dance
\n\u2022\t6:45 p.m.: Shoestrings Dance School
\n\u2022\t7:00 p.m.: Kenny Academy of Irish Dance Show Troupe presents \u201cAn
\nIrish Christmas\u201d
\n\u2022\t7:15 p.m.: The Connolly Academy of Irish Dance
\n\u2022\t7:30 p.m.: South Shore Ballet Theatre presents Dances of the Nutcracker<\/p>\n
As has been the case in past years, the square will be closed to traffic
\nwith parking available at Tedeschi\u2019s Plaza and Cardinal Cushing Center.<\/p>\n
