School Vacation Week Programs at John Curtis Library<\/p>\n
Wednesday, February 20, 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Art Workshop with Pop-Up Art
\nSchool
\nThe Pop-up Art School will present a workshop on the art of Vincent van
\nGogh. The lesson, for children 8 to 12 years old, will focus on his humble
\npainting of a chair. Students will make a two dimensional drawing of a
\nchair which will then be cut so the seat and front legs of the chair “pop
\nout\u201d from the background. Attendance is limited.<\/p>\n
Thursday, February 21, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sparky’s Puppets
\nSparky’s Puppets will present “Stories From Snowy Lands”. Watch a snowman
\ncome to life, see a bear go ice fishing, and visit a toymaker on a wintry
\nday. Sparky’s Puppets have performed throughout New England for over 30
\nyears. They have visited the Hanover library multiple times and are always
\na delight.<\/p>\n
