Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nAt its Maundy Thursday evening service on Thursday, April 18th, the First
\nCongregational Church of Hanover will be doing a fasting collection to
\nbenefit the Hanover Food Pantry. Those who wish to fast on Maundy Thursday
\ncan donate the money they would have spent on food to the food pantry.
\nBaskets will be located at the back of the Church. <\/p>\n
The First Congregational Church will also be collecting \u201cHygiene Kits\u201d
\nuntil April 14. Please place the below list of items in a 1-gallon plastic
\nbag with a zipper closure. These kits go to anywhere in this country and
\naround the world where there are struggling families.
\nALL ITEMS MUST BE EXACT PER REQUEST OF Church World Service
\n\u00b7 One hand towel 16X28
\n\u00b7 One wide tooth comb removed from the package
\n\u00b7 One wash cloth
\n\u00b7 One nail file or clipper
\n\u00b7 One bar of soap
\n\u00b7 One tooth brush in original package
\n\u00b7 Ten standard size band aids<\/p>\n

The First Congregational Church of Hanover, United Church of Christ will be
\nhosting the following Holy week events for 2019: Palm Sunday on April 14 at
\n9:30 a.m., the Maundy Thursday service on April 18 at 7:00 p.m. and the
\nEaster Sunday services! On Easter morning, April 21, there will be a
\nSunrise Service at 5:45 a.m. at the outdoor labyrinth, followed by a free
\nPancake Breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and Easter Resurrection Service with drums
\nand trumpets at 9:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
