Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier announced that absentee ballot
\napplications are available now in the Hanover Town Clerk\u2019s Office for all
\nvoters living in Hanover wishing to vote by absentee ballot in the Annual
\nTown Election. The election will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019. <\/p>\n
Absentee ballot applications are for use by registered voters who are
\nunable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to:
\n1)\t Absence from the Town of Hanover during normal polling hours (8:00 a.m.
\n\u2013 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th); or
\n2)\tPhysical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or
\n3)\tReligious belief;<\/p>\n
OR they are for use by non-registered voters who are:
\n1)\t A Massachusetts citizen absent from the state; or
\n2)\tAn active member of the armed forces or merchant marines, their spouse
\nor dependent; or
\n3)\tA person confined in a correctional facility or a jail, except if by
\nreason of felony conviction.<\/p>\n
Applications for absentee ballots must be received by noon on the day
\nbefore the election, in this case, by noon on Friday, May 10th. For more
