Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
In order to celebrate the installation of their new Rodgers Organ, the
\nFirst Congregational Church of Hanover will be presenting an Organ
\nDedication Concert on Sunday, May 5, for their church and our community.
\nAll are welcome to attend this free concert, so be sure to invite friends
\nand family. The organ was purchased through a fundraising campaign that
\nresulted in contributions from many church members and music lovers.<\/p>\n
At the keyboard for the dedication will be Minister of Music and Organ
\nVirtuoso Chad Weirick, who will demonstrate many of the organ\u2019s
\ncapabilities. Joining in the celebration will be percussionist Tim
\nMaxwell, the Senior Choir, as well as other musicians from the
\ncongregation. The one-hour concert will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday May 5,
\nin the sanctuary. A time for fellowship and refreshments will follow in
\nthe vestry.<\/p>\n
Made in America, the Classic Series Rodgers Organ 589 is packed with an
\narray of modern features from the onboard Hymn Player with 350 commonly
\nplayed hymn tunes, to the 32-note velocity-sensitive pedalboard for
\nexpressive orchestral effects. Other features include two keyboard manuals
\nwith lighted tab controls, locking roll top, and built in music desk lamp.
