Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover’s Annual Town Meeting was dissolved this evening (Monday as I write
\nthis), but not before we agreed to petition the General Court for 13
\nadditional liquor licenses for Hanover Crossing, and discussed the
\npossibility of reconsidering our approval of Article 36 regarding the
\nSylvester School.<\/p>\n
The Sylvester School article discussion dominated the evening, but
\nultimately, the two-thirds majority needed to reconsider our actions from
\nlast Monday was not achieved. In the meantime, the Selectmen have voted to
\ncancel the current RFP that was responded to by Hanover’s own Dave
\nTraggorth and the Traggorth Companies. Town Meeting’s actions from last
\nweek under Article 35 and 36 stand, include the decision to sell or
\notherwise dispose of the Sylvester School, and are described in more detail
\nhere:
