I thought you would appreciate an update regarding the Hanover Crossing
\n(former Hanover Mall) plans.<\/p>\n
As you may recall, this winter, the Zoning Board of Appeals approved the
\nvariances sought by PREP for: a variance from Hanover Zoning Bylaws Section
\n6.11.20.H from the thirty-five foot (35\u2019) height and Section 7.110 three
\nstory height to allow for a fifty-three feet (53 ft.) four story multi-unit
\nresidential building, and a variance for the rate of development from 1.5%
\nper year to build all 297 units as a single comprehensive development.
\nThat decision has been appealed.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, Hanover Crossing (Hanover Mall), submitted applications to
\nthe Planning Board on May 30th for Special Permit and Site Plan approval.
\nThere will be a public hearing regarding these applications on July 1st at
\n7:00 p.m. at the Hanover High School media room. All are invited to
\nattend. Further, the town has set up a special page on the town’s website,
\nfound here: https:\/\/www.hanover-ma.gov\/hanover-crossing .<\/p>\n
