Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier announced today that the Town of
\nHanover is recruiting election workers for the upcoming busy March 2020
\nPresidential Primary and May 2020 Annual Town Election. There are two
\npositions available: “Inspectors” – the folks who check voters in and out
\nand attend the ballot boxes all day long, and “Tellers” – the folks who
\ncome in at the end of the day and help to process and count ballots,
\nespecially write-in and overseas ballots. <\/p>\n
Next year’s elections will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd and Saturday, May
\n9, 2020; check your calendar and see if you are free! Training is
\nmandatory and will be provided ahead of time, too. Election workers are
\namong the most outstanding people in town – they work hard to ensure
\nelection laws are upheld and procedures are followed, all while having fun
\nand literally delivering democracy to the residents of Hanover. Join the
\nteam of Hanover election workers – it will be among the most rewarding and
\npatriotic work you have ever done.<\/p>\n
