There are two<br \/>\npositions available: &#8220;Inspectors&#8221; &#8211; the folks who check voters in and out<br \/>\nand attend the ballot boxes all day long, and &#8220;Tellers&#8221; &#8211; the folks who<br \/>\ncome in at the end of the day and help to process and count ballots,<br \/>\nespecially write-in and overseas ballots.  <\/p>\n<p>Next year&#8217;s elections will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd and Saturday, May<br \/>\n9, 2020; check your calendar and see if you are free!  Training is<br \/>\nmandatory and will be provided ahead of time, too.  Election workers are<br \/>\namong the most outstanding people in town &#8211; they work hard to ensure<br \/>\nelection laws are upheld and procedures are followed, all while having fun<br \/>\nand literally delivering democracy to the residents of Hanover.
