Auditions will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 3:00 p.m. for the John Curtis
\nLibrary’s children’s summer play.<\/p>\n
Children of all ages are encouraged to try out. There are reading parts
\nfor older children and singing parts for younger children. The play is
\ndone “reader’s theater” style, so actors don’t have to memorize their
\nlines. This will be the ninth year that the children’s department has put
\non a play. This year’s production, not yet officially titled, fits in with
\nthe summer reading theme “A Universe of Stories” and features
\nschoolchildren and space aliens in a battle between books and technology,
\nwith a happy ending for all.<\/p>\n
