Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nBased on recent Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) positive mosquito
\ndetections in the southeastern portion of the state, the Massachusetts
\nDepartment of Public Health (DPH) has raised the EEE risk level from
\n\u2018low\u2019 to \u2018moderate\u2019. Though no positive mosquito samples have been
\nfound in Hanover, the DPH and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural
\nResources (MDAR) announced recently that aerial spraying for mosquitoes
\nwill take place in specific areas of southeastern Massachusetts, including
\nHanover. Spraying began Thursday, August 8, 2019, and will continue over
\nseveral evenings.<\/p>\n

\nmosquito results, maps, and incidence of positive mosquito samples.<\/p>\n
