Stuck at home?  Check this out!<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t resist using pot covers as cymbals, or wooden spoons as drum<br \/>\nsticks, South Shore Conservatory\u2019s (SSC) Kitchen Gadget Throwdown may be<br \/>\njust the fun virtual competition for you and your family this summer.<br \/>\nFamilies are encouraged to submit videos of themselves making music using<br \/>\nkitchen items they can strike, scrape or shake.  The winning video,<br \/>\ndetermined by a panel of musicians including SSC President Karen Geer and<br \/>\npercussionist Ed Sorrentino, receives a $100 cash prize and is featured in<br \/>\nSSC\u2019s The Big Reveal event on Labor Day weekend.  The winner will be<br \/>\nannounced at this event.<\/p>\n<p>Videos should be no longer than three minutes.  Singing in the video is<br \/>\npermitted.  Judges will be looking at qualities such as creativity,<br \/>\ncohesiveness, and preparation.
