Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The Hanover Parks and Recreation staff wishes they could be running around
\nthe Hanover Middle School fields with you right now, playing tennis
\nbaseball and tie-dying! Since we can’t all be together in person this
\nsummer, they hope you will join them online for some of their virtual
\nprogramming!<\/p>\n
Starting the week of July 12th, weekly contests will be posted to their
\nsocial media accounts. Participants can complete the activity at home when
\nthey have time and submit photos of their final product for a chance to win
\na PARKS and REC SWAG BAG. Contests include cupcake decorating, poetry,
\nchalk art, robot design, and stick raft building.<\/p>\n
Every Wednesday, July 15th through August 12th, you can join some of the
\nHanover Parks and Recreation staff on ZOOM for Virtual Snack Club.
\nParticipants will be sent an ingredient list for each weekly snack and will
\njoin the staff on ZOOM for step-by-step instructions on how to prepare
\nkid-friendly snacks.<\/p>\n
Also on Wednesdays, from July 15th through August 12th, you can join some
\nof the Hanover Parks and Recreation staff on ZOOM for Virtual Arts and
\nCrafts. Participants will be sent a supply list for each weekly craft and
\nwill join the staff on ZOOM for step-by-step instructions on how to make
\neach craft.<\/p>\n
Check out Hanover Parks and Recreation’s social media accounts on Thursdays
\nfor the weekly Minute to Win It Challenge! The staff will post a
\none-minute challenge for you to complete at home with your family. Submit
\nyour challenge videos to them for a chance to win a PARKS and REC SWAG BAG.<\/p>\n
