The good folks at the Hanover DPW and the North and South Rivers Watershed
\nAssociation are sponsoring a video contest for residents of the South Shore
\nWaterSmart communities, of which Hanover is one, as follows:<\/p>\n
Now, YOU have an opportunity to help educate the public by creating a fun
\nvideo that highlights either stormwater pollution and how to prevent it, or
\nways to conserve water. You don\u2019t need any fancy video equipment to
\nqualify! Videos should be sent to news@harbormedia.org and should be 1-3
\nminutes in length. The deadline to submit your video is August 31, 2020.<\/p>\n
The top winning video will win the grand prize of a $500 gift card.
\nAdditional winning videos will receive a NSRWA\/Harbor Media swag bag with
\nhats, t-shirts and more.<\/p>\n
WaterSMART is a nonprofit partnership between the NSRWA and 12 towns on the
\nSouth Shore: Cohasset, Duxbury, Hanover, Hingham, Hull, Kingston,
\nMarshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Rockland, Scituate and Weymouth. Our
\nprograms are based on the belief that education is key. Since its creation,
\nWaterSMART has educated thousands of local school-age children, adults, and
\nbusinesses on water conservation, stormwater pollution, where their water
\ncomes from, and how to care for it.<\/p>\n
