Fall semester starts Thursday, September 10.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to offering a 12 percent discount on all private lessons, SSC<br \/>\nis also offering a five percent multi-student family discount, and a ten<br \/>\npercent frontline worker discount when students lock in their lesson time<br \/>\nfor the 2020\/2021 school year.  Once SSC receives the new COVID guidelines<br \/>\nand the go-ahead to open their campuses for lessons, students will be<br \/>\noffered a new hybrid flexible model of study, combining virtual and<br \/>\nin-person learning.  Until then, lessons will continue online only. <\/p>\n<p>Music Together Online, for children from birth to four, continues through<br \/>\nthe fall, offering a joyful introduction to song, dance and rhythm.   This<br \/>\nnew online version allows not only the caretaker, but also grandparents and<br \/>\nother siblings to join the fun remotely.  <\/p>\n<p>New for this fall, when students sign up for private lessons on orchestral<br \/>\ninstruments, they may also join one of the Conservatory\u2019s three SSC Youth<br \/>\nOrchestra (SSCYO) tiered virtual ensembles for free.  Under the guidance of<br \/>\nProgram Director\/Symphony Conductor Elijah Langille, this sequential youth<br \/>\norchestra program provides opportunities for young musicians to perform<br \/>\nsymphonic music at a high level in a well-organized and supportive full<br \/>\norchestra program.  Currently online, SSCYO begins its fall season<br \/>\nvirtually. As restrictions are lifted, it will move into a hybrid model.<br \/>\nSSCYO\u2019s Symphony ensemble is scheduled to perform with the Plymouth<br \/>\nPhilharmonic Orchestra in March of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>SSC\u2019s Rock Band program continues for middle and high school musicians<br \/>\ninterested in working on group dynamics and developing a cohesive band<br \/>\nsound.
