This just in from the good folks at the American Legion!<\/p>\n
“Wondering what you can do to help others this Holiday Season? The
\nAmerican Legion has you covered.<\/p>\n
Stop by the American Legion Post 149 on King Street in Hanover on Saturday,
\nDecember 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Legion will be collecting
\nthe following to be distributed to the Hanover Food Pantry:
\n\u2022\t Non-perishable food \u2013 proteins are particularly appreciated. The
\nfood pantry has an abundance of beans, however, any other canned goods are
\nwelcome.
\n\u2022\t Grocery gift cards in all donations welcome
\n\u2022\t Toy drive sponsored by the Toys for Tots
\n\u2022\t Gloves, mittens, socks<\/p>\n
Due to COVID-19, this will be a brief drop-off event. There will boxes
\nwill be outside of the Legion and we ask that you stop by to make your
\ndonation.***** There will be a special visit by Santa, who will be on hand
\ngiving out candy canes.<\/p>\n
If you would like to make a year-end donation to the Legion, please just
\nmake your check out to American Legion Post 149 and give it to one of the
\nworkers or drop in the jar on the table. These funds are used to support
\nveteran services exclusively.<\/p>\n
We look forward to seeing you on DECEMBER 12 BETWEEN 1:00 p.m. AND 4:00
\np.m. AT THE AMERICAN LEGION ON KING STREET IN HANOVER. THIS HAS BEEN A
\nDIFFICULT YEAR FOR MANY PEOPLE, SO WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT OF THIS
