Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

School vacation week is almost upon us, and it’s
\nsupposed to get up to 70 degrees today.  Hanover’s children will be
\nout in full force this afternoon…and good for them!  With the change
\nin season, however, comes a cautionary note for all of us from our neighbors in
\nNorwell.  Yes, this is Norwell news, but who is to say that  a
\nsimilar situation won’t happen in Hanover today?  It is too close
\nfor comfort.  Parents – enjoy the weather, and be vigilant with your
\nchildren.  Our police need our support…and for all of us to be their
\neyes and ears.  Don’t hesitate to call them to report suspicious
\nbehavior.  The Hanover Police Business line is 781-826-3231, and of
\ncourse, in case of an emergency, dial 911.<\/p>\n

This e-mail came from Chief Ross of the Norwell Police
\nDepartment.  It’s validity has been ascertained, and no further incidents
\nhave occurred since this past Tuesday:<\/p>\n

On 04\/14\/09 at 1:52 PM a
\nsuspicious incident was reported to the Norwell Police Department.  A
\nresident that lives in the Central Street area called to report that there were
\nseveral children age 10-13 out playing on a front lawn.  A blue van with
\nwindows down the side and a stripe down the side drove down the dead end
\nroad.  The vehicle turned around and stopped before exiting.  The
\nmale party put down his window and then took a picture of the children and
\ndrove off. There is no further description of the vehicle or operator at this
\ntime.  At this time we are asking anyone with information to call Norwell
\nDetectives at 1-781-659-7979 so we may identify this person and investigate
\nfurther to determine if any crime was committed.<\/p>\n
