Since 1982, when the homeless shelter Mainspring House first opened in
\nBrockton, members of the First Congregational Church of Hanover have been
\npreparing and serving meals to as many as 120 people on the first Sunday of
\neach month, as well as on New Year\u2019s Day. This year the Church continued
\nthe tradition, but, allowing for restrictions regarding the pandemic, they
\ndropped off ingredients for the Mainspring House staff to prepare the New
\nYear\u2019s Day meal.<\/p>\n
The members of First Congregational Church encourage the general public to
\njoin them in their on-going support of Mainspring, which has since merged
\nwith Father Bill\u2019s Place. To offer your assistance, please contact the
