The Hanover Unity Council is proud to announce their upcoming events for
\nFebruary:<\/p>\n
FOOD DRIVE to benefit the Hanover Food Pantry. School vacation week is
\ncoming and kids don’t have access to school meals. Let’s help stock up the
\nfood pantry for every resident. Highest needed items are: cookies, pudding
\ncups, fruit cups, juice boxes, pancake mix, baking mixes, peanut butter,
\njelly, laundry detergent, paper towels, Dinty Moore beef stew, and pasta
\nsauce. Any nonperishable goods will be accepted, including gift cards. <\/p>\n
Drop off your donations on February 13, Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. \u2013 3:00
\np.m. at Riley Hall (17 Silver Street) in the center of town. This will be a
\ndrop off event in the parking lot. Please wear a mask and maintain social
\ndistancing. The Hanover Unity Council will have bins to put items in and
\nall items will later be delivered to the food pantry. If you can’t make it,
\ncontact the Council at hanoverunitycouncil@gmail.com and they can schedule
\na pick up that day. Also, please make sure all food has not expired. <\/p>\n
STUDENT LOGO ART CONTEST: The Council is looking for any student from
\nHanover to design a logo for the Hanover Unity Council. The logo should be
\ndesigned around their mission statement. Please see the attachment, the

BOOK CLUB: This month’s book is \u201cThe New Kid\u201d by Jerry Craft. This is a
\ngraphic novel and appropriate for Middle School and High School age groups.
\nA group discussion will be led by Kathy Tan and Meredith O’Hayre-McCarthy.
\nDiscussion will be held via Zoom on 2\/21 at 3:00 p.m. To receive the Zoom
