A Voyage  In<br \/>\nSong&#8221; at the John Curtis Library on Tuesday, April 21 at 4:00  p.m.&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe musical program recreates a<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>voyage on an old New England whaling ship, with  the<br \/>\naudience members serving as the ship&#8217;s crew.&nbsp; Mr. Coffin will  lead<br \/>\nthe audience in singing sea shanties, &#8220;hoisting the sails&#8221;,  and<br \/>\nacting out other shipboard <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>activities.&nbsp; Playing the concertina and  other<br \/>\ninstruments, he is particularly skilled at getting a whole audience<br \/>\nsinging.&nbsp; There will also be an appearance by his friend,  &#8220;Pierre<br \/>\nwith the bad hair&#8221;.&nbsp; The program is very  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>interactive, full of humor, and informative as  well as<br \/>\nentertaining.&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>Mr. Coffin is a descendant of the Nantucket  Coffins,<br \/>\none of the most prominent American seafaring families.&nbsp;&nbsp; He is  a<br \/>\nmulti-talented performer who has been playing and singing music in many  genres<br \/>\nat hundreds of <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"3DMsoBodyText\" align=\"3Dleft\"><span>venues all over the country for more than 20  years. &nbsp;The<br \/>\nprogram is for families with children in kindergarten and older.&nbsp;
