Please join residents of Hanover at the MGH Matthew Westfield Blood Drive.
\nIt will be held next Wednesday, May 12th in the parking lot of the Town
\nHall. This is the 34th year that MGH has traveled to Hanover in Matthew\u2019s
\nmemory. The blood drive began at the Sylvester School in 1987. Peggy
\nWestfield, retired Hanover teacher, was teaching at Sylvester that year.
\nThe blood drive followed Peggy to Cedar School when she was transferred
\nthere. When she became the reading specialist and then 5th grade teacher at
\nHanover Middle School, the bloodmobile traveled with her. Last year during
\nour difficult pandemic, the bloodmobile relocated to the Town Hall parking
\nlot. The response was so great that MGH brought in two bloodmobiles to
\nsocially distance and accommodate the donors. Please consider giving, if
\nyou are able. <\/p>\n
