Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The John Curtis Free Library is now a donation drop off location for the
\norganization Hope for Boston\u2019s Homeless. This group of volunteers
\ntravels to Boston monthly to distribute backpacks filled with clothing,
\ntoiletries, snacks and gift cards to individuals living without housing
\nsecurity. If you would like to donate any of the following items in the
\ncollection location in the library lobby, they will be gladly accepted.
\nYou will help someone in need and brighten their day!<\/p>\n
Items needed are:
\nBackpacks or duffel bags
\nFleece throws
\nRefillable water bottles
\nChap sticks
\nDeodorant
\nShampoos\/conditioners (personal sized)
\nWipes (personal sized)
\nSoap bars (personal sized)
\nBlack pocket combs for men
\nBrushes for women<\/p>\n
Seasonal men and women\u2019s clothing, new or slightly used (but clean), such
\nas
\nT-shirts
\nPants\/jeans
\nLeggings
\nUnderwear (new)
\nSocks<\/p>\n
Snacks individually packaged:
\nPeanuts or almonds
\nGranola bars
\nPeanut butter crackers
\nSports drinks
\nMcDonald gift cards ($5.00)<\/p>\n
The library is located at 534 Hanover Street, and donations may be made
\nduring normal library hours.
