Apply now for community arts grants through the Hanover Cultural Council;
\nproposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science programs are
\ndue October 15!<\/p>\n
Have you ever wondered what happens with the funds raised at Hanover Day?
\nMoney from our annual celebration, plus Hanover\u2019s share of state cultural
\nfunds, is used to support arts, science, and humanities projects throughout
\nthe year. <\/p>\n
The Hanover Cultural Council has set an October 15, 2021 deadline for
\norganizations, schools, and individuals to apply for grants to fund
\ncultural activities in Hanover. These grants can support a variety of arts,
\nscience, and humanities projects, including exhibits, festivals, field
\ntrips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops,
\nand lectures. <\/p>\n
This year\u2019s allocation to Hanover from the Massachusetts Cultural Council
\n(MCC) is $7,100, and additional funds are available thanks to the past
\nsuccess of Hanover Day. The Council will meet later this fall to review the
\napplications and award the grants. The MCC has updated its website and the
\nprocess is slightly different this year \u2013 all applications must be
\nsubmitted online. <\/p>\n
A webinar will be held on September 9 for applicants to introduce the new
