Hanover Woman’s Club, Juniors is proud to announce their 2nd Annual Virtual
\nCommunity Kids\u2019 Halloween Costume Contest.<\/p>\n
The last week of October is \u201cAdvocacy Week for Children\u201d in the General
\nFederation of Women’s Clubs – which the club has been federated under since
\n1970. In past years, the club has held their Halloween parade as their
\ncommunity service project for Child Advocacy Week, but due to continued
\nrestrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, they will be offering the Virtual
\nCostume Contest once again. <\/p>\n
The Club has 4 different categories based on age groups; they will be
\nlooking for originality and of course, for cuteness. Each category has a
\nprize. Details as to how to enter are listed below and in the attachment.<\/p>\n
HOW TO ENTER:
\n\u2022 Take a picture of your child in their costume and email it to
\nhwcj1970@yahoo.com
\n\u2022 Subject: Costume Contest
\n\u2022 Include in email:
\n\u2022 Name, grade and age of child and which category you are entering
\n\u2022 Parent\u2019s name, best phone number for prize announcement
\n\u2022 Deadline to enter is midnight November 1st, deadline to vote is
\nNovember 3rd, and winners will be announced November 7th.<\/p>\n
HOW TO VOTE:
\nMembers from our club will be helping to pick the winners but you can also
\nvote for your favorites to increase their chances. Pictures will be posted
\non the Club’s Facebook page at

Venmo $2.00 per vote to @HWCJ-GFWC with your favorite costume.
\nProceeds will go towards the Club’s annual scholarships that are given to
\nhigh school seniors.<\/p>\n

\n2. PRE-K TO FIRST GRADE
\n3. 2ND, 3RD, AND 4TH GRADE
\n4. GROUP CATEGORY – 2 or more participants ANY AGES
\n\u2022 2 WINNERS FOR THIS GROUP CATEGORY
\n\u2022 PERFECT FOR THE OLDER KIDS but young ones can apply<\/p>\n
PRIZES: Gift cards donated by Toy Box, Lil Dukes, Story Book Cove and
\nTarget.<\/p>\n
