Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Lutheran Church of the Cross will be hosting a Christmas Festival this
\nSaturday, December 4th, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. <\/p>\n
2:00 to 3:00 p.m. – 60th Anniversary celebration of the Lutheran Church of
\nthe Cross with a special tribute to all First Responders, with presentation
\nof awards to Hanover Police and Fire Departments and representatives from
\nthe medical community. The public is invited to honor a First Responder
\nthey know from anywhere in the USA by placing a ribbon on the Christmas
\ntree located on the church grounds. <\/p>\n
3:00 to 4:00 p.m. – KID’S POWER HOUR activities will include an official
\ndonut eating contest for children, games, face painting, touch a police
\ncruiser, balloons, holiday ornament and cookie decorating, and more!<\/p>\n
4:00 to 5:00 p.m. – Gear up for the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest open to
\nall ages. Prizes and a trophy will be awarded. Catch the holiday spirit
\nwith a Live Nativity walk and participate in old fashioned Christmas
\ncaroling by the outdoor fire while roasting marshmallows, drinking hot
\nchocolate and coffee. <\/p>\n
There will also be holiday crafts, gift and bake sale tables, and a raffle
\ntable. <\/p>\n
