Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover Town Clerk Catherine Harder-Bernier announced that in-person Early
\nVoting in advance of the September 6 Primary Election begins this Saturday,
\nAugust 27th at 10:00 a.m. in the large hearing room on the first floor of
\nHanover Town Hall, 550 Hanover Street. On Saturday, in-person Early Voting
\ngoes until 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
In person Early Voting is open to anyone without an excuse. This new
\npermanent change to the law went in to effect this summer and applies to
\nall State Primaries and State Elections, which means it will be available
\nto you in October for the November State Election, too.<\/p>\n
In addition to Saturday, the other dates and times for in-person EV prior
\nto the September Primary are as follows:
\nMonday 8\/29, Tuesday 8\/30 and Thursday, 9\/1 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
\nWednesday, 8\/31 from 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and
\nFriday, 9\/2 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 noon.
\nAll of these sessions will be held in the first-floor hearing room of
\nHanover Town Hall.<\/p>\n
Some other important dates and times for your calendar:
\nLast day to change your party or register to vote in the Town Clerk’s
\nOffice – Saturday, August 27th from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
\nLast day for the Town Clerk’s Office to RECEIVE your Vote by Mail
\nAPPLICATION – Monday, August 29th by 5:00 p.m.
\nLast day for the Town Clerk’s Office to RECEIVE your Vote by Mail BALLOT –
\nTuesday, September 6th, 8:00 p.m. Ballots may be returned to the ballot
\nbox outside of Hanover Town Hall 24\/7.
\nElection Day – Hanover High School, 287 Cedar Street, Tuesday, September
\n6th, polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
