Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Do you know that the Friends of the John Curtis Free Library in Hanover, a
\nsmall and caring group, supports the library in major ways?<\/p>\n
Membership contributions and monies collected from the book sale space are
\nreturned to the library to provide programming, funding most of the
\nlibrary\u2019s children\u2019s events, as well as some events for adult patrons. <\/p>\n
Monies also provide museum passes to seven organizations:
\n New England Aquarium
\n Peabody Essex Museum
\n Roger Williams Zoo
\n Zoo New England
\n Trustees of Reservations
\n Historic New England
\n Harvard Museums<\/p>\n
The Friends of the JCL values the ongoing support of their current members
\nand invites others to join them! Membership applications are available on
\nthe bookcase in the book sale room and at the two circulation desks.<\/p>\n
The Friends of the JCL encourages your support as a volunteer.
\n Volunteers play a vital role in the book sale space.
\n Support in suggesting programs would be helpful.
\n Overseeing the Children\u2019s Garden would be wonderful!<\/p>\n
