16th SPIRIT OF HANOVER COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD<\/p>\n
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS<\/p>\n
The Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is accepting
\nnominations for the recipient of the 16th Spirit of Hanover Community
\nService Award.<\/p>\n
This Award is presented to an individual who best exemplifies the spirit of
\nHanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time, energy and talent
\nto the Town and its citizens thus enriching our lives, fostering a true
\nsense of community and inspiring us all to a higher level of service.<\/p>\n
Nominations should be in writing and should articulate in detail how the
\nnominee satisfies these criteria. Nominees from prior years are not
\nconsidered for this year\u2019s award unless re-nominated. While Hanover does
\nhave some amazing paid employees, the Committee plans to award someone for
\ntheir volunteer gifts to the town.<\/p>\n
Nominations must be received by not later than February 21, 2023, and
\nshould be addressed to:<\/p>\n

Past recipients of the Award include Mrs. Virginia Szejnar, Mrs. Barbara
\nBarker (-Kemp), Mr. Richard \u201cDick\u201d Eaton, Mrs. Jean Migre, Mrs. Lois
\nVan Doren, Mr. John Thomson, Mrs. Barbara Itz, Ms. Catherine
\nHarder-Bernier, Mrs. Joanne B. Cure, Mr. Harold (Hal) D. Thomas, Mr. Roger
\nA. Leslie, Sr., Mrs. Judy Grecco, Mr. James Gallant, Mr. Ray Miller, and
\nMr. Les Molyneaux.<\/p>\n
Receipt of the Award is commemorated with a reception and by having the
\nrecipient\u2019s name inscribed on a perpetual plaque which is prominently
\ndisplayed in the foyer of the Town Hall.<\/p>\n
