The first time I heard the term “digital natives” I was teaching at a
\nMontessori school in Scituate, and it was used to refer to the youngest
\npre-K and elementary kids under our watch. Those kids were (practically)
\nborn with iPhones in their hands. The concept was interesting to me – even
\nmy own kids weren’t digital natives, and they were just in middle school at
\nthe time! Now those early elementary digital natives are middle schoolers
\nand maybe even high schoolers. Their developmental experiences were and
\nare still vastly different than my kids’ experiences, and certainly light
\nyears ahead of my own. I’m so glad Hanover Public School is providing
\nsome tools to help parents navigate these uncharted waters.<\/p>\n

\nheld next week for parents regarding internet safety. It will be held on
\nZoom on Monday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. Please email
