Children\u2019s Vacation Week Programs at the Library
\nTuesday April 18, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Through me to you Puppets
\nLeigh Baltzer will bring her puppet friend Newton and others to read
\nstories and sing songs to children. Afterward, there will be time for some
\nfree play with puppets.<\/p>\n
Tuesday, April 18, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Pajama Story Time
\nPut on your jammies, grab a favorite stuffed animal, and come in for a
\nhalf-hour of bedtime stories!<\/p>\n
Wednesday, April 19, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Playful Engineers
\nSTEM focused workshop in which participants design, build, test, and play
\nwith chain reactions and creative contraptions, like Rube Goldberg
\nMachines, paper constructions, domino towers, exploding popsicle-stick
\nsnakes, and other awesome engineering explorations.
\nMost suitable for age five years and older.
\nPlease register from the Calendar of Events section at
\njohncurtislibrary.com.<\/p>\n
Saturday, April 22, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon: Read to a Dog
\nTucker the Sussex Spaniel therapy dog will visit. Children can read to him
\nor just spend time with him.<\/p>\n
Registration is requested for Playful Engineers. All other programs are
\ndrop-in.
\nThe puppet program and Playful Engineers are funded by the Friends of the
\nLibrary.<\/p>\n
