Hanover’s Special and Annual Town Meetings start this Monday! Mark your
\ncalendars – the Special Town Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and the Annual
\nTown Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m., both at Hanover High School, 287 Cedar
\nStreet. The 2 “warrants”, similar to an agenda, may be found here:

\n. On the list – how do we feel about the digital signs in town? The
\nSchool Department has had huge cost overruns this year and needs $650,000
\njust to close the books on Fiscal Year ’23. Will we approve that along
\nwith a large increase for FY ’24? Do we want lighting at Forge Pond Park?
\nHow about dedicated funding for Hanover Day expenses? All this and
\nmore…beginning Monday night!<\/p>\n
Residents are encouraged to come early and see the display in the cafeteria
\nabout the landscape design work that is being done at B. Everett Hall
\nField. Park in the front parking lot; the back doors will be locked and
\ncheck in will flow from the front doors only. Please thank your dedicated
\nteam from the Police and Fire Departments, CERT team, Elections, School
\nDepartment, HCTV and the DPW for their hard work behind the scenes as you
\ncome in, too. And most importantly, please thank the volunteer board and
\ncommittee members who spend months and months preparing the budgets and
\nwarrant articles for this day. Which, by the way, I fully expect to extend
\ninto Tuesday night. So, plan your childcare arrangements now!<\/p>\n
